Source overview

Large Czech-Russian dictionary

This digitized, previously unpublished material consisting of 21,834 typed pages was created in the 1970s and 1980s as a printed medium; however, its publication never materialized. Its transformation into electronic form and subsequent technical and graphic layout conforming to parameters of the new user environment will enable the professional public to take practical advantage of a thus far most extensive and most detailed lexical material on a synchronous comparative Czech-Russian linguistic plane. It will thus become an extremely valuable source of lexicographically structured data, and further reflect historical development of linguistic means and social life and institutions.
