Dictionary of Czech post-1945 literature

The dictionary of Czech post-1945 literature forms the basis of a cyclically updated electronic database which is able to provide up-to-date and professionally processed information to both experts and the general public. Those dictionaries published by the Institute for Czech Literature which reflected post-war Czech literature and which were no longer affected by pre-November ideological limitations served as both a starting point and basis for the database. Further, noteworthy authors who had published their debuts between 1989 and 2000 and who were not included in the earlier book edition were added. The dictionary also works with embedded (irregular) entries which provide additional information above and beyond that provided in the entries (for instance, entries on certain exile additions come with additional bibliographic lists, etc.).
