Services provided by the Department of Research and Reference Services:

• compiling research requirements from the databases available in the ASL and from the Internet;
• author and thematic research, searching for magazines, quote analyses from the databases Web of Knowledge and SCOPUS;
• providing Impact Factor from the Journal Citation Reports (from the JCR database and from the printed version);
• searching the Hirsch-index from the databases Web of Science and SCOPUS;
• advisory and consultation activity concerning the databases:
• Research from the collection of the ASL CR, the KENCI card catalogue (card catalogue of encyclopaedic information) and from the Internet;
• Searching for material and biographical information.
