Searching engine EXCALIBUR    Enables searches in the ASCR Library catalogue as well as those of the Academy Institute Libraries and the ASEP publication database, using normal language for queries. For detailed information on the use of Excalibur, click on . At present the system contains titles received by the Library from 1993, the ASEP database, and holdings of the Institute Libraries, and is continually updated. This system is used for example by the British Library, the Library of Congress and NASA Earth Observing System.

 
 

Card catalogue in image form This system contains the Library’s general author-title catalogue, containing all titles acquired by the library through 1992. More recent titles may be found through the Excalibur system above. At present the system includes most of the approximately 500,000 cards.
